Review
The story started out ordinary also familiar to me. I use to tryout a lot online games with similar setting; magical world with different races (orc, elf, human, etc) live in the same city, and ruins that players can form a team to go on a quest. I was not excited in the beginning, but the second half of the book is better when more excitement elements picked in, such as the dungeon of doom and zombie. I'm running pages after reading three forth of the book because I want to know the ending. There is one thing I dislike about the setting of the book is that young magicians know too little magic. I would like the book more if it had more magic or special abilities used by the three main characters. Overall, I think the author did a decent job.
