Summary
Beastologist is a scientist and observer of rare creators. This story is about Nathaniel Fludd or Nate becoming a beastologist. One day, Nate, ten-year-old boy, received the news of the lost of his parents. On the same day, he was sent to live with his aunt, Aunt Phil, a relative he never knew. After the first day, Nate and Aunt Phil were on a trip to Arabia to oversee the birth of the new phoenix. Everything came too fast Nate does not time to straighten was had happened. He was in confusion during the trip.

Review
It was a journal full of excitement and unknown. Nate does not know where he supposes to be. As the journal go, Nate had slowly learned the family's history and knows where he belongs. The author did a good job on slowly feed information to Nate. It makes the growth of Nate seems reasonable. I was disappointed that the coverage of the phoenix is not much. I expect more coverage as the title had suggested. The phoenix is one of the reasons I want to read this book. Overall, the story is recommendable for tween readers.
