Summary
The book started with some introductive facts about Egypt, such as kingdoms, geography, customs, and religion. It continues with practical information, such as what people wear and eat. The next section is information related to daily life of the Egyptians, such as shelter information. The second half of the book is like a travel guide that has information on places when worth visiting, like the royal city of Memphis, and things to do in Egypt. The last section of the book has some interest facts and figures. It has a further reading section, a glossary, and an index.

Review
As one of the oldest civilizations in the world, students need to know some information about Egypt. This is a excellent resource for students who are working on a school project on Egypt history. The coverage of the book is general but has a whole picture about Egypt. I think this is decent for elementary school students. Students tend to be bored with detailed information. The photos, illustrations, maps, and timeline throughout the book help readers had a better understanding the topic and keeps readers attracted.
